  2. Chasse,
I am going to start working with couple of naturopaths a day or two a week (pending a few technicalities). They do this kind of stuff all the time... I will ask them the next time we meet and get back to you soon!

  3. Hi Chasse and Tanmeet!
So here is the short answer. I can get you more info if you like. Email me if you have more questions.
Basically, detox diets (or cleanses as they are more PC called) are recommended to help unload teh toxic burden that we take on in our "modern" life. (I always think of that crazy stat... can't remember the specifics about the number of toxins found in umbilical cord blood).
Anyway, they also rec for people with sxs of fatigue, depression, chronic sxs (HA, IBS,allergies),poor sleep, etc. It can also be used as a elimination diet to detect food allergies.
The biggest thing is that good cleanses are not a fast. The diet shold also be supported with some sort of nutritional supplement to support the recommended cleanse and have vitamins/ minerals that support the detox process. The women I will be working with use a "shake" made by Thorne called Mediclear. It should be accompanied with a recommended diet and then the foods gradually reintroduced (hence the elimination trial).
can do it seasonally or prn.
It is usually a 3-6 week process. They say the elimination of toxins usually takes this long.
Hope this helps and hope you all are well! Let me know if I can get you more info
